Welcome Autumn Chalk Art…

 

 

 

The cooler days of fall have finally arrived here in Northern California. Over the weekend I changed my chalkboard canvas with some art celebrating  my favorite season.

 

 

 

The bay area has so many wonderful destinations…all within just an hours drive! Here is the view of the brand new Bay Bridge on my first trip across…

After driving through the tunnel on Treasure Island the next section of the bridge is just as beautiful. This has long been one of my favorite views heading into the city…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As fall arrives so does football season…and we are fans! We have held San Francisco 49er season tickets for years and one of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday is at the game…

 

 

 

This is the final season at Candlestick Park. The 49ers will be moving into a brand new stadium next season…so the atmosphere is full of celebration for this event.

Heading into San Francisco to meet some friends for lunch…lucky me!

 

I would be jumping up like this photo if I didn’t tweak my back a couple of days ago while using a chain saw to cut up a fallen birch tree in my mother in laws front yard! Any DIY’er worth her salt would never pass up the opportunity for some free birch wood to use for fall décor and more…right?!

 

No matter that what I have paid my massage therapist and chiropractor…I could have bought twice as much birch wood for projects! But free is good…right?!

Are you ready for some football?!?

 

I am!!!

 

 

 

This weekend we are having some friends in from out of state for a visit and a few days of food, fun, and football!

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are driving in to San Francisco on Saturday to shop, and eat, and prepare for the game on Sunday. We are longtime season ticket holders for the 49ers and they are playing the Greenbay Packers. Our friends are Packer fans…so a little friendly rivalry (and a standing $20 bet!) is on hand.

We will be in the parking lot enjoying the pre-game festivities, fanatics, and tailgate parties. Such a fun way to spend the day!
