Candlestick Sleeves…

Have you seen these?

Recently I came across a fun accessory to update and transform you chandelier or wall sconce light fixtures…

kaarskoker is a retailer that manufactures and sells beautiful, decorative candle covers for light fixtures. Although the name has Dutch roots, there is no literally translation…and it is a fun word to say! kaarskoker (cars-ko-ker)

What it a candle sleeve or cover? A candle sleeve is tubing that covers a socket on a fixture. Also known as candle covers, candle sleeves slip over the socket of chandeliers, lamps and sconces. Combined with a bulb, they suggest a real candle.

They can even be used to transform regular candle stick holders into something more stylish and unique…

Designer April Pride Allison was frustrated with the limited and generic options when specifying light fixtures for clients and her own home. Drawing on her background in Architectural History, April looked to ancient motifs for the basis of the collection. These motifs and carefully selected colors were paired to create designs offer consumers the ability to create fixtures with a personal statement. See the full story on the kkBlog.

You can even customize your candle sleeves for your own home, business or event…

There a tons of styles and options on the kaarskoker website…visit them here. I love this simple way to transform and customize a light fixture…making it unique to your own personal style.
