It has been a fun week participating in the Getting Creative @ Home Blog Tour. I have found new blogs to read and blog friends to visit!
I would like to send out a HUGE Thank You to Julie over at Lilacs and Longhorns for organizing the tour…and to all the amazing bloggers who shared!
Laura, all of your chalkboard art is amazing!! I especially love your "by the sea" board. I've been to PV, and its so beautiful, I can see why you would want to have a reminder around. It wouldn't have dawned on my to use a chalkboard to share inspiration and good cheer rather than functional, boring messages. Love that gorgeous color on those hydrangeas, too, So happy to be on the blog tour with you. ~ Amy
ReplyDeleteSweet!!!! Love that frame too, you are so talented!!

Your chalkboard is beautiful, and you are so artistic! Even if I could get some of the writing to look good on a chalkboard, I'd never get the art to look as pretty as your art. You've chosen such great quotes and sayings for your boards too. I loved seeing this, and I'm so glad to have been on the tour with you. laurie
ReplyDeleteLove this project! Re-using and re-creating ways to use things in our home is such a good idea. I have a chalkboard wall in my kitchen, I am always looking for great things to write on it. I think I may borrow your Audrey Hepburn quote! Visiting you on the blog tour, a wee bit late!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea, Laura! I don't have any chalkboards in my house but I might have to change that.
