Last fall I posted about a girls getaway to the California coastal resort of Seascape…see post here.
While we were out and about hitting the local boutiques and antique shops, we happened to drive by a garage sale. As an experienced garage-saler from early childhood (thanks Mom)!
I immediately spotted something sitting on the driveway that I just had to check out.
“Stop the car!” I instinctively yelled, surprising all of the ladies in the car who had not even noticed the sale.
We made a quick u-turn and I found these…
A pair of rattan side tables…asking price $5.00…for both…SOLD!!
They did have some glass squares for the tops, but I tossed them because they were all chipped and I planned to use these tables for another purpose anyway.
Here are a few of my favorites…
With some paint, fabric, and a little bit of creativity, I think these two tables will make the perfect pair of bedroom stools.

Now, just waiting for the fabric to arrive so I can start this project. Do you have a summer project in the works?

OOhhh..I love them Laura! What a great find - and I love how you stopped the car. That is a seasoned professional and someone with a good eye. These are going to be perfect for the end of your bed - and I love that you can move them around wherever you need to as well.
