My “topless” table…

Here is a little DIY project that combines two unlikely items. A metal outdoor stepping stone and a “topless” wrought iron side table!

I have had this little outdoor table for years. It used to have a wooden top, that eventually deteriorated after sitting outside in the elements.

While I was trying to figure out what to use to make a new top for this “naked” table, I literally stumbled upon the metal garden step…and it fit perfectly! Just needed a little orange spray paint to make it fresh and fun.

Here is what it looks like now…

I like to move this versatile little table around the yard and use it wherever I need it. It works perfectly next to the pool to hold my book and a cool drink…

Or next to my Adirondack chairs under the Redwood trees…

Stop by on Friday to see how I freshened up my white Adirondack chairs.

  3. So cute! We have a few Adirondack chairs that we are always hulling back and forth from the lake back to the deck. I need a table that would fit between a couple of them. This would be excellent because the weight would keep it put while at the lakeside.
