Garden Benches

I love benches! All shapes and sizes…especially outside in the garden or yard. I also love benches on the front porch or back patio…

By placing a bench under a shade tree, on a brick patio, or just tucked between some beautiful flowering shrubs, you can create multiple destinations throughout your yard. This is a perfect way to make use of an otherwise unused corner, and adds visual interest as well.

Colorful Adirondack benches, each painted a different color to match the foliage

How about adding several brightly painted benches around an outdoor fire pit? What a wonderful spot to enjoy a summer evening with family and friends!

Whether you choose stone, iron, brightly painted, or naturally rustic…adding a garden bench is the perfect addition to any yard or outdoor space.

I am currently working on a make-over for a bench I use on my front porch. Here is a little sneak peek at the before…

Do you have a favorite spot in your garden or yard? What kind of bench would you add to your outdoor spaces?

  1. What a lovely selection of benches. I have a favourite sunny spot for mine - it needs a little make over after the long harsh winter.
